This article is a summary of achievements of one of the oldest, if not the oldest, Polish Military Hospital in 2019. The hospital obtained an accreditation certificate from the Ministry of Health, reaching an 82% level of compliance with the Healthcare Quality Assessment Center accreditation standards. The Skin Cancer and Melanoma Treatment Center and the General, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department were established. The Hospital Emergency Department was expanded and provided with additional equipment, and, looking further ahead, a major investment was initiated – a construction of an integrated operating theater. The hospital has been awarded prizes and awards: “Outstanding Medical Facility 2019” and “Manager of 2019 in Health Care – public health‑care institution”. The article is also an acknowledgement, as it is very little you can do without commitment and hard work of the entire hospital staff.
