ABSTRACT
The article presents a case of a 36‑year‑old obese female with hypertension in whom, after 4‑week treatment with nonsteroidal anti‑inflammatory drugs due to upper respiratory tract infection, the Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms syndrome (DRESS) developed in form of skin urticaria, edema and multi‑organ dysfunction. Differential diagnosis and treatment methods are discussed.
