ABSTRACT
Variant angina is a kind of stable coronary artery disease. The essence of the desease is spontanic spasm of coronary arteries. The symptoms are paroxysmal. In most cases, the prognosis is good, but serious complications may occur, like a myocardial infarction, arrythmia or sudden cardiac death. In spite of reccuring nature of the desease, the myocardial infarction is very rare (<0.5% a year). This article presents a case of a patient with the myocardial infarction in the course of variant angina.
