ABSTRACT
The armed conflicts in the modern world cause an increasing number of civilian casualties. The authors suggest potential problems of medical care availability for civilian population during military operations within the country, in correlation with the medical support system needs of the Polish Armed Forces. They try to define basie directions of necessary activities that may significantly improve current shortfalls within the wartime medical support system.
