ABSTRACT
The aim of the study was to determine modifiable and non‑modifiable factors significantly affecting the process of wound healing after Lichtenstein tension‑free hernia repair. Based on the work, the authors reached a conclusion that patient age, diabetes, overweight, obesity and smoking adversely affect the process of wound healing after hernioplasty.
