ABSTRACT
Since the beginning of 1950s, Polish Army went through different changes regarding manpower and organizational structures. These changes took place also in the Military Health Service. New organizational structures of medical units were realizing tasks focusing on maintaining appropriate level of health in the army, enabling proper level of combat readiness. The reform of organizational structures of the Military Health Services in the beginning of 21st century, separating brigade health services from military units and change in the medical service funding had negative impact on performance of tasks to be fulfilled by these units.
