ABSTRACT
The aim of our study was to evaluate the effectiveness of thoracoscopic sympathectomy. The authors paid particular attention to presence of side effects after surgery. A conclusion resulting from the study is that thoracoscopic sympathectomy is a safe treatment of primary palmar hyperhidrosis with satisfactory and long term results.
